Management Responsibilities
Management will provide and maintain:
- Safe Work Environment
Establish and maintain safe working conditions, equipment, and facilities that meet or exceed regulatory standards - Comprehensive Risk Management
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement control measures to eliminate or minimize workplace hazards - Safety Training and Education
Provide appropriate health and safety training, information, and supervision to all personnel - Personal Protective Equipment
Supply, maintain, and ensure proper use of necessary personal protective equipment for all work activities - Emergency Preparedness
Develop and maintain emergency response procedures, first aid facilities, and incident reporting systems - Safety Communication
Ensure clear communication of safety policies, procedures, and expectations throughout the organization - Contractor and Visitor Safety
Implement safety requirements for contractors and provide safety briefings for all site visitors - Continuous Improvement
Regularly review and update safety procedures based on incident analysis, audits, and industry developments - Regulatory Compliance
Maintain current knowledge of and adherence to all applicable health and safety legislation - Resource AllocationProvide adequate resources, both human and financial, to support effective health and safety management
Employee Responsibilities
Each employee has an obligation to:
- Follow Safety Procedures
Comply with all established safety rules, procedures, and work instructions - Use Protective Equipment
Properly wear and maintain all required personal protective equipment - Report Hazards
Immediately report unsafe conditions, near misses, and accidents to supervisors - Participate in Training
Actively engage in safety training programs and maintain required certifications - Work Safely
Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions - Equipment Care
Properly use, inspect, and maintain tools and equipment according to manufacturer specifications - Emergency Response
Follow established emergency procedures and participate in emergency drills - Continuous Learning
Stay informed about safety requirements relevant to their work activities - Teamwork
Support colleagues in maintaining safe work practices and fostering a safety-conscious culture - Stop Unsafe Work
Have the authority and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions are identified
